I was born in 1986 in Uzice, a town in the western part of Serbia as the first and only child in the Marinkovic family.

Hobbies and Interests

  • HAM Radio
    Active since 2000 under club callsign YU1AAX (YT9X), personal license since 2004, call YT1CW. Participated in several national High Speed Telegraphy contests and two European championships (Nis 2004 and Primorsko 2006).
  • IT and Technology
    Various IT and IT-related "disciplines", such as programming (Python), static website generation (Jekyll), technical writing (DITA), web design and development, IoT (Raspberry Pi), mobile devices (Android), Linux/Unix, etc. The list is quite long, so let's say I'm a geek in general.
  • Cycling/MTB
    Prefer short MTB rides in the nature to long road rides. Owner of Scott Scale 640. Suffer from Gear Acquisition Syndrome (applies to the categories above as well).
